IMPORTANT NEWS!!

Just wanted to inform you all that I got a rather disturbing email from an individual with whom I have never met before in person, only had a run-in with her online and this was in 2005, this email states that she regularly visits this blog and my blogs and has downloaded and saved photos of my daughter and regularly follows me around the internet.

So therefore on Monday, April 20th, 2009, this blog will close and there will be another blog set up which will be private. I will only allow those who are "Invited Readers" to view the blog. So if you want to keep up with Taylor and her growing up into a beautiful little lady, then please send your email to me at: browncutie77@yahoo.com

This is only in protection of my daughter, to keep this nut away from her. Also, posts from this blog will be transferred over to the private blog.

I will also feature more photos and videos of the little one over on the other blog.

Thanks!!

Photo Shoot Rescheduled

I am going to reschedule the photo session for Taylor until further notice. It is going to be cold, windy and raining on Friday and plus I have an ear ache that is not going to go away before then. When I do get these things, it lasts at least a week or so. Going to be pretty cranky.

Gearing up for Taylor's first Easter. Planning a small family dinner. Was going to be a bit larger, but people forgot it was Easter or it came really quick. Anywho, Taylor is going to have a good time.

She is just advancing so much. Today I had her facing East and towards the end of the bed and within 5 minutes she had turned West and was on the other end of the bed with us. She was chewing on my pants. She is at that point now where she is watching anyone close to her eat and wants whatever it is. So far today in addition to her regular feedings (just formula and cereal, nothing else) she has eaten some crescent roll she was watching me eat and some apple pie. I also gave her a bit of my Oatmeal from this morning. She actually has Oatmeal cereal, so I didn't see a problem giving it to her. She ate whatever I gave her. She had half an Oreo cookie the other day. She was on the bed and was watching S eat one and I said "Give her one and lets see what she does!" S opened one and gave it to her and at first she laid on it. Next thing we know she has a hand full of cream and the hand went in her mouth and she was just sucking on it. Then she had some cookie in her mouth. Later on D gave her the other half of the cookie thing (brown part of Oreo) and was letting her suck on it and she had no problems with it. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing!! :-)

Have to go, pretty tired. Haven't done a stitch of work all week. Just running ragged. Take care

Outfit Found

I have found the outfit that Taylor is going to wear for her photos this Friday. I had it all along and for some reason. She's going to look cute in it. I actually have 2 different outfits for her. My mother said that we need to get her a Easter dress to take the photos in. I don't know about all of that, but we will see.

Not much to report right now. Will probably post later.

Juice Yes...Sweet Potatoes No!!

I purchased the little one some additional food items the other day and I've been introducing them to her. I gave her some juice and she loved it. So far she has had two bottles of the juice and she absolutely loves it. She didn't make that funny face she normally does when she tries something new. I gave her squash again the other day and she took that first spoonful and made the face, then went ahead and ate the entire container of squash. So yesterday, I figure that it was time to move on to another food item. I got bold and attempted to do Sweet Potatoes and she was not having it. She took that first spoon and made that face that she normally does and I thought it was so funny. So I gave her some more spoons and she started to push her tongue out like "I'm so not eating this junk. What is this?". Then she sneezed and sweet potatoes went all over the place....her hair, her face, her clothes, me, the bed and the wall behind me!! LOL!!! I should have taken a picture of that. Everytime I tried to give her a spoon of that stuff, she would push it out and would not eat it. So sweet potatoes are out.

I figured they would be, because I cannot stand sweet potatoes. I ate sweet potatoe pie once about 16 years ago and got violently ill!! You name it, I was doing it. Now, I have seen some good looking pies in the time since I got sick, but I am not going anywhere near those things. I refuse to. Someone will give me a pie for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter and it will sit in the fridge for months!!

Anywho, today is Taylor's first Wrestlemania. That's the one wrestling program that everyone can sit and watch together and not fuss over changing the channel.

Her first photo session is this Friday. I made the appointment a few weeks ago and will take her in this Friday. I'm still trying to figure out what she is going to wear.

Tooth Is Here!!!

When I last posted, I stated that Taylor's 1st tooth was a few days away from appearing. Well last night, I checked her mouth and she has her first tooth already. At 5 months, 8 days old she got her very first tooth. I knew that she was drooling more than normal the last few days and it was only a matter of days before it popped through the gum. She has already bitten me a few times.

I brought her some juice, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots and something else today while at the grocery store. I'll introduce one at a time every 3 days to see how she handles each item. My bet is she'll hate the carrots. But we shall see. Only about another week to go before her photos. I'm excited. I want to see what she looks like in photos from a professional view.

Virus & Teeth

I have been away for a few days due to a very nasty computer virus that would not let me get beyond the "Welcome" screen forWindows XP. Apparently I got the virus on the 18th of March. I don't know what I was doing that day or who else was on the computer that day.

Anywho, little Miss Taylor is doing fine. She is getting so much bigger and will have a doc visit very shortly, so we will be able to see if she is gaining weight. She seems so light to me, but maybe that is because I pick her up and hold her all of the time.

She loves to eat cereal, pears, apples and even squash. The first spoonful makes her get that "Ewww" face, but after that, she's eating like a pro. Every other feeding is switched between cereal and some other food. Right now, she is due for either pears or squash at her 1pm feeding.

And guess what? She has teeth!! Okay, one is still a few weeks off from appearing and the other one is about a few days away. It is sitting right below the gum and is just waiting to pop out. She has been drooling so much lately and has been chewing on her little fingers to no end.

She also knows how to scoot wherever she is laying and also knows how to flip over onto her back and back over to her stomach. She also has the legs of a Radio City Rockette!!! I've been saying that ever since she started moving in my stomach. But now, she just spends minutes upon minutes just kicking those little legs. It tickles her when she does it because when I see it, I just start saying "And kick, and kick...1, 2, 3". She loves that and starts laughing. Real laughing, not baby giggling, but outright laughing.

Her first photo session is coming shortly. On the 10th. Excited about that. Looking for an outfit for that now.

She can also sit up a bit, but only if she's leaning forward to the point where her stomach is on her legs. She will sit like that for a minute and then fall over.

I have a few pics to share, but have to get them off the camera and onto the computer. I have no idea when I'll do that, but it will be shortly.

Very Busy & Okay..1 Pic

I have been very busy personally and work wise and haven't posted here since yesterday. Taylor is looking so cute today. She has two little ponytails in her head today. Her big brother D put them in for her, they totally do not go with her outfit at all. She has on a pink and white striped sleeper and the ponytail holders in her hair red and white (one is red and one is white). I'm sad to say, but she doesn't have that much hair!!! LOL!!! When I found out I was having another girl, I just knew she was going to be born with a lot of hair. People are telling me that it's short for now, but when she gets older that it is going to grow. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it does.

Taylor is feeling better today, seems to be a coming and going sort of thing. She was really better the next day, I can't remember when she last sneezed and she has no runny nose. She is just a bit cranky and chewing on her fingers on the left side of her mouth, so I am thinking a tooth is going to crack through her gums sometime soon.

She did the cutest thing today, we got Mickey D's for lunch today...I know...if you read my weight loss blog, this was so against everything. But I was sitting on the bed and had her propped up on a pillow and I just put a french fry on her pillow since she was watching me. At first, she just looked at it. But a couple of minutes later, she did the cutest thing. Me and her 2 older siblings were in the room all talking and Taylor is looking at the tv, but her left hand is going towards the fry and she is slowly pulling it towards her and she puts it right in her mouth. All this time she is still staring at the tv, she sucked on the fry for a minute. It was just too cute!!

Well as promised, here is one recent pic of Taylor. I know I said I would not put one here, but a lot of the visitors do not have Myspace or Facebook and one pic isn't going to do any damage.

She was so happy in this pic, I thought I would never get her to smile for the camera, but she was being silly baby that day I took this.

Another Good Night

The little one must have been tired as heck, as she slept through the entire night. She only fussed around 5 or 6 am this morning and by the time I got back to the bedroom to bring her bottle to her and change her, she had gone to sleep and was sleep for another two hours before finally waking up.

She has had her bottle with cereal. I have also spoon fed her some cereal and apple sauce, bathed her and changed her clothes and diapers and now she is happily playing with her doll.

I have tons of new photos of her, but because of certain individuals, I will not post them here. You must be a friend of mine on Myspace or Facebook in order to see them. Sorry, but have to do what I have to do.

Today is going to be a low key day. Don't have any major outside plans. Wanted to take Taylor for a walk or go somehwere, but still do not have a stroller and it's kind of cold outside. So we are pretty much in the house for the weekend. Just waiting on a 60 degree plus day. I guess i better spin the day shopping for her Easter dress.

She's Got The Cooties & Spoon Feeding!!

Well...it's official...the little one has her first cold. I knew that it would eventually get around to her, everyone else has had it excpet for me. Every kid in this house has had it, her daddy is now sick and now she is sick. She sneezed like 8 times in a row and when I went to look at her face, she had a snotty (sorry about that) nose and it was all red and her eyes are all puffy and watery. I'm not even sure what to do for babies when they have colds, since they now say under 6 months of age and they get no medicine or anything. Will just take it day by day.

She had a really good lunch of Applesauce...or was it Pears?? Some Oatmeal cereal (for babies) and some formula and now she is out like a light. I'm sure it will be blowing out the other end soon!! LOL!!!

She did another cute thing today, she was blowing spit bubbles and making that sound with her mouth, so I'd do it and then she would do it and look at me. Then I'd do it, and then she'd do it again. We went back and forth like this for about 5 minutes. She wouldn't do it if I didn't, but when I did, she did. I'm wondering what else she can mimic??

Well..that is it for today. Take care and remain blessed.

Small Update

Not much has been going on with the little one. She has just been getting bigger and bigger as the days go on. She is also still a silly little baby. I just got a new camera yesterday and snapped some photos and she would not smile for me at all. But once I shut the camera off, then she would smile at any little thing. The sleeping is going good, still sleeping until about 5 or 6 am. If she has a cereal bottle at night, she will sleep later in the day. If she doesn't then she is going to wake up early.

I'm just waiting for the weather to break for the season (get warmer on a daily basis) before I take her outside. Some kind of illness has been passing around, so she has been sneezing a lot lately.

Other than that, everything is good.

Silly Girl!!

This morning, Taylor got ready to go visit her family out in the Western Burbs, her daddy put the car seat base in the car and came in the room and saw Taylor on the bed touching and slobbering all over the remote and he said something to her and she just turns and looks at him like "What The F**k Are you looking at?" and then she gives him this smile.

She'll be spending the night out there. Mommie needed a break and needed to get some work done.

Her ear piercing has been put off, I thought I'd be more mobile by now. But I'm not, plus still waiting on her stroller to come in and then we will go and handle that. Plus, I want to gain some more strength in my leg. It isn't that sturdy right now and I don't want to push it.

Her First Dolly!!!

Last night Taylor got her first Dolly. The doll actually says "Baby's First Doll". It's a cute little thing, I have to buy a camera and take photos of it. She loves it, as it seems to have a rattle in it's head.

She slept pretty well last night. This was after having a 30 minute cry session a bit after 8pm. She slept for about a half hour before waking up and then she ate around 10pm and went to sleep right after that and slept through the night. We are going to start on some other sort of fruit or vegetable today.

Will post more later.

WIld Child!!

Taylor is really an unpredictable baby. Once she gets on a pattern and you get used to it, she completely throws you off and gets into some sort of other pattern. Last night, we did the normal routine of changing, feeding, burping and quiet time. She goes to sleep at about 10:30pm and wakes up a little after 11pm, and she stays up until after 1am. As I was moving around the bedroom, she would just follow me and I would look at her and talk to her and say "What are you doing up little girl?" and she would just smile. I ended up just turning the television and light off and I could hear her moving around in her crib before she ended up going to sleep. I am sure I went to sleep first!!!

She is still sleep now as I knew she would. Have to get her up soon or she is going to be soaked. Have to reschedule her 1st photo shoot. I'm shopping around, I like the Kiddie Kandids people, but can't find a easy location to get to. I also like a few of the cheaper studios, I don't know. We will see. I'll see if I can get something set up for the house.

Marathon Sleeping and Bears Outift

Taylor had a marathon sleeping session overnight. She went to sleep around 10pm and woke up at 8am. She slept straight through. I guess the cereal is really doing a number on her. Not a single whimper at all.

She has on her Chicago Bear's outfit right now. The pink sleeper thing that her daddy got her. It is funny because when she first got it, I would put it on her for every Bear's game and they won. One night, I forgot to wash it and the next morning when I remembered that the Bears were coming on, it was too late to wash it and dry it, so I said "Forget it" and they ended up losing that game and that was the game they needed to win. Spooky hunh???

Brief Update

I got my cast off today. I'm super excited, but now my ankle area is sore as heck. The doc did some sort of thing to test it to see if I would need a walking boot or not, he sort of flexed it up and did it so hard I almost jumped off the table. But now that part of my foot is sore. I guess I have to get used to having it taped up and in such a confined space for the past 41 days. I honestly thought I would have 2 more weeks of being in a cast before he would take it off. But he came into the exam room all happy, shook my hand and told me he saw the x-ray and it looked good, so the cast was coming off today. I still have a little crack in my fibula, which is why he does not want me to put full pressure on it. Happy that he took my cast off, but still kind of upset because any trips to the mall are out for at least another 2 weeks. Can't do that much walking now, but can put some half-pressure as he says on it.

Anyways, while calling the house to have them call a cab to take me home. My mother told me to stop by the Gift Shop and by Taylor a toy. So I went straight to the stuffed animal section and was bombarded with about a million toys. I saw everything under the sun. I had a hard time selecting what to get for her. I narrowed it down to a white unicorn with a rainbow horn thingy and a cute little pink piggy. Since I'm always calling her my little piggy on account she snorts when she is about to start crying, I thought that would be the cute thing to get her, so I brought it. I took a picture of it with my mother's dinosaur camera, so once she gets the film developed then if I don't have a digital camera by then, I'll just upload that pic and show you guys.

Not much else to report except for Taylor is now taking cereal in her bottles. And her feedings have been upped to about 6 or 7 ounces per feeding and she is handling those well. She has not spit up in more than a week or so. SHe also had about 2 or 3 tablespoons of cereal yesterday. I had it on a plate and was feeding it to her and she ate it really well. I then followed up with a bottle with a bit of cereal in it. She is really liking it.

Will post more tommorrow.

Only One Wake-Up, Blowout #2, Solids and Pageantry.

I have quite a bit to say this morning, because tommorrow will be busy for me, so I won't have a chance to post in the morning and by the time I get back from the Ortho, I'll be too tired to post. Anywho...

Only One Wake-Up: Taylor did surprisngly well last night. She went to sleep around 8pm and woke up at 3am. I wanted to wake her at 10pm to change her and feed her so that she'd stay asleep for a good part of the morning, but I was too tired myself so I didn't. So she woke up at about 3am, got her diaper changed, ate and was out like a light and she has been sleep since. She did a bit of whining about an hour ago, but I sat there to see if she would go back to sleep and she did. So I have a bottle and diaper ready for her when she wakes up, which should be any minute now.

Blow-out #2: Miss Taylor also had blowout #2 yesterday. Remember that cute pink outfit I was talking about yesterday??? RUINED...well not really...I was able to get it clean somewhat after extensive soaking. Have to keep soaking it in order for it to be back to normal. I had to have assistance this time because she is at the point where she puts her hands down there when I'm changing and I did not want her to get this poo all over the place. But she took the clean-up really well as one of her big brothers was holding her hands and she just kept looking up at him and smiling. It was her favorite big brother that was helping me.

Solids: Today we will have a mixture of cereal and applesauce together. I want her to try both of them together just to see how she'll respond to it. But so far she is liking whatever she is given.

Pageantry: As some of you may or may not know. I have a huge pageantry background. From competing, to coaching to directing. I'm now more into directing more than anything and when I found out I was having a baby girl this time around...yeah...that thought ran across my mind more than a few times. But I put that thought out of my mind out of respect for her father who is/was so set on getting her into basketball. I joke that he had her drafted for the W.N.B.A before she was even born. Well....I'm thinking she could do a pageant or two here or there. So far, I have entered her into the My Girl U.S.A pageant (online pageant) and the American Rose pageant. She was awarded the title of Baby Miss Chicago for the My Girl U.S.A pageant and we applied for the title of Teeny Miss Chicago Rose (I think that is the title..not sure). I was also looking into the Universal Royalty pageant, but may wait for an actual live event. I want her to enjoy the best of everything that is out there for her. Pageants can be a fun thing if done the right way and not in an excessive manner. I don't want to go overboard like some pageant moms do. I think I can be a low key pageant mom.

I Wish I had A Camera

My..My..My...I wish I had a camera today. Taylor just looks so adorable in her pink outfit today. I wanted to wash her hair today, but it's quite cold outside and in the house (trying to get it warm now), plus she's been sneezing..so I think I will wait. She would have had her curly afro thing going on today if I had washed it.

She is also a very smiley baby...I know I keep telling you that. But she will smile at anything and anyone. Once I get a camera, then I'll be snapping pictures of her everyday. Everyone is missing out on so much with her.

She will be 4 weeks and 1 month on Monday. Time is going by so fast. I cannot wait until we are in the final countdown for her 1st bithday party. Still debating on what to do for that day. Knowing me...I'll just go for a really fancy party at home. Although, the kids who will be attending will want Chuck E Cheese for the games and stuff. I don't know, we have to figure it out and set money to the side.

Have to go now...time for a feeding. Will check in later.

Normal Friday So Far!!

Today has been a normal Friday so far. Not much has gone on with the little princess, except for she allowed me to get caught up on my sleep today. She had some applesauce last night and she seemed to have liked it.

I think that Pink Eye may be in the house, not sure though. S's eye looks better than it did last night. He went and got some stuff for it, he has been fighting a cold for the last couple of days, so hopefully that is all it is.

Will post again tommorrow.

OMG...We Got Our First Huge Blowout!!!!

I have read from many parents about their babies having huge blowouts and having to clean it up. Remembering it from my older kids, it wasn't something that I necessarily wanted to go through...but I kind of found myself wondering when our big blowout was going to happen. If you are not a parent, then a big blowout is when a child or any age who is still in diapers has a Poo so explosive and big that it just goes all over everything.

Last night, I had fed Taylor and changed her diaper and put her in her crib. I am looking at television and the next thing I know I hear this weird sound coming from her direction. I think it is some sort of big burp or something, so I pay no attention to it really. Then she just starts to do this crying thing, I mean she is wailing so loud that it is high pitched. I am trying not to pick her up and just let her go to sleep, as she does this every night before going to sleep. She does this crying thing for about 5 minutes and then she is out like a light. But not last night, so when I finally realized that she wasn't going to sleep. I leaned over the crib and look down at her and I ask her "What's wrong mama?". She turns her head towards me and has the saddest look on her face and starts to cry. I'm like "Okay". So I plan to pick her up and rock her to sleep. I am sitting on the edge of our bed and I reach down into the crib to pick her up and I stand her up before picking her all the way up and I notice a stain on the front of her ALL WHITE bodysuit. I'm like "Holy S**t". This little girl had a blowout so big that it went up the front of her and she was laying on it. I'm dropping the F-Bomb like crazy because I totally was trying to figure out how I was going to get her out of this thing as I thought I had to pull it over her head which would have meant Poo would have traveled up.

I had to call in the Troops!!!! I just started shouting names and whoever came, I ordered them to get one thing or another. I had to get a towel to lay on the bed, wipes...new clothes and a huge stack of wipes,as I knew this was going to be a mess. I had to slide the bodysuit down off her shoulders and take it off from the bottom. Then J came in and saw the Poo and said "Ewww" and ran out the room holding his nose. D was like "How did she do all that?". Heck if I know, yesterday was a non-applesauce day.

I managed to clean her up and get her dressed. I left her laying on the bed while I talked to her as she wasn't going to go back to sleep. I was just talking to her and getting her to smile and calling her "Poo Princess". She liked it as she smiled and smiled. Then I tickled her to listen to her laugh. She has such a pretty laugh. As soon as I figure out how to record it, I will do so and post it here.

Well, I have an appointment to be at, at 9am this morning and I"m not even dressed and my hair is not done. I'm a slow poke and procrastinator to the fullest, so I need to get ready.

Silly Girl & Ear Piercing

Yesterday was a silly day for Taylor. She smiled at me anytime I said something to her and she is also quite ticklish. When I tickle her little belly, she will squirm and smile. And I forget again, but I was saying something to her and she would giggle. Also last night around 9pm I gave her a bath, put her diaper on and fed her and put her in her crib. 30 minutes later, I am laying across my bed and looking at television and I see her head pop up...actually I saw her hair..her little "Mini Fro". And I lean over the edge of the crib and she looks at me and I say to her "Little Girl, what are you doing up? It's time to go to sleep!" And she just gives me the biggest smile on the face of this earth, then she stops. Then I repeat what I just said and she smiles again. We go through this about 5 times. Then J comes in the room and asks me what I am saying to Taylor and I tell him. Then I tell him to say it to her, he does and she just looks at him crazy.

That girl has such a little personality. I am so amazed at her. Only 8 months left until her first birthday. I cannot believe it. I am wondering what to do. I want to have a Princess Party, but we haven't decided anything. I am also thinking Chuck-E-Cheese. You can't go wrong with a Chuck-E-Cheese birthday party!!!! Everyone has fun...even adults. We will see.

It has been decided...by me..of course...that Taylor is going to get her ears pierced in about 2 weeks time. Granted that this cast is off and I have a walking boot or cast. Since my cast may come off on March 2nd and I'll be given some sort of walking boot....2 weeks will give me enough time to get used to walking with that thing. So everything should be okay.

Happy 4 Month Birthday!!

So got home yesterday and didn't get a chance to have/make that big Sunday dinner. Was planning on buying everything from the store by the house, but it was closed surprisingly early and the only transpo available had already left. So the big dinner yesterday was "Crap-Donalds". I swear I am so tired of their "Fake Beef". I should have gotten a chicken sandwich.

But anywho, Taylor sucked on some french fries from mc-donalds yesterday and seemed to love them. I started her big brother J on french fries when he was 3 months. Later on in the night she started to have problems with her teeth. She had her fingers way back in her mouth and was gumming them to death. She also gummed my hand to death when I had her sitting on my lap. I'm starting to think she's getting some teeth any day now. She also had a fit because I wouldn't feed her on demand and made her wait 3 hours to eat. She had just finished a 6 ounce bottle a few hours ago and 2 hours later was trying to get some more. But I made her wait at least 3 hours before I fed her 4 more ounces. Then she slept from about 8:30pm-10pm and then she was up, before I changed her and played with her for an hour and put her back to bed and she was out until at least 8am this morning. She woke up and was changed, played with her big brother D while I made her a bottle. She ate, played some more and has been sleep for about 30 minutes now.

I have been thinking about a lot of things with her. One- Should I get her ears pierced now or wait until she asks for them to be pierced? Two - What to get her for her first birthday? Three- What should we do for her 1st birthday? I definately want her to have a party, but we don't know too many little girls, so it would be mostly the people in our families and most of our friends and their kids. We shall see, only 8 more months to go before it happens.

Rocker Princess Photo

In my last post I mentioned that I had entered Taylor in an Online pageant that I had participated in before, and I said something about a "Rocker Princess" photo. I went back into the archives of this blog and found the photo and here it is:

It looks like she is saying "Rock On Dude" in that photo!! So cute. Today, I am going to start adding some cereal to her formula. She just eats and eats and it is time to start adding it on a regular basis.

Did not get my cell phone yesterday, Oh well...no pics until I can find a digital camera. I have several windows open now and I am doing some comparison shopping. I really want to take advantage of taking more pics of the kids, which was something I have not done in the past. Heck, I may even jump in on some of them.

Take care and have a blessed Sunday. I am contemplating a big dinner today when I get home (not at home right now, we are out visiting!!!) A big Sunday dinner. Probably going to see if it can be done. Will let you know how everything turns out.

Uh-Oh & Oh So Cute!!

Before I gave birth, my mother had purchased a large bag of clothing for Taylor. In that bag of clothing, there was a pair of blue-jean overalls. I knew it would be some time before Taylor got into them. A few weeks ago, I pulled them out of the container that I store her clothes in that she does not wear. Today, I put them on and she looks so adorable in them. She has on a pink Onesie under them and some white socks. I tried to put her pink sneakers on, but I could only find one of them. I wished I was able to take a photo of her, but with me no longer having a camera, I will have to wait until I get one and put the outfit on her again.

Also, earlier today, I did something that I really didn't think I would do. If you have been a visitor to my blog for the past few months, you may remember a photograph I had taken of Taylor that I labled "Rocker Princess". It still may be on this blog in an older post. I won that tiara awhile ago from a pageant named Ms American Rose (I won the Illinois State title). Well, I stumbled upon the pageant website again and saw that they had a division for the little ones, so I entered Taylor into it. I know...I know....you are thinking "Crazy Pageant Mom", but I'm not going to become one of those. This is a mail in pageant, all I have to do is send in a photo and some other stuff and that's it. None of that $1,000 dress, fake hair and makeup for her. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but I just do not want that for her right now. I am going to wait for her to make her own decision on if she wants to do it or not. She should win the local pageant for her age group and possible the state title. I promise to keep you updated.

Not Much To Really Report!! :-)

There really isn't much to report, seeing as how I'm still "On Bed Rest" because of my broken leg. I'm not going outside at all unless it is mandatory, so that means no special trips to the mall for at least another 3-4 weeks!! BOOO!!! I so wanted to take Taylor to the mall and do a bunch of things. But because I can't really walk or stand for long periods of time with these crutches, then my only option is a wheelchair or walker!! Papa Joe actually had the nerves to offer me one of his moms old walkers, saying it would be easier for me to get around. No, a walking cast would be easier for me to get around!! LOL!! It shouldn't be too long now. I say in about another month, I'll be back to my old self.

Today seemed to be a fussy day for the L.O. Her teeth must really be coming in as she kept sticking her fingers in her mouth and gumming them to death. Have to do something about it. She was also really fussy. She's going to start eating some more cereal and stuff starting this weekend. Have to plump the L.O up!!! :-) I also think she has started to laugh. I forget what I was saying or doing to her, but everytime I did it, she would smile really big and make this laughing type sound. I cannot wait until the weather breaks so I can take her and J to the zoo. I've been wanting to do that for so long. Hopefully, the weather will break soon, so we can have an outing to Lincoln Park Zoo.

Sorry Been M.I.A!!

Sorry that we have been Missing In Action, but there have been a lot of things going on personally that required my full attention. But we are back and I'll start blogging and everything on a regular basis.

Little Miss Taylor is doing excellent. Growing like a weed. She is now 3 months and is wearing 6-9 month clothing. She eats about every 3 1/2 hours and can manage between 4-6 ounces per feeding. She is also starting to teeth (my children start to teeth between 3-6 months of age). She can also turn and lay on her side or completely on her back when she is laying on her stomach. Sometimes when laying on her stomach, she has gotten up on her hands and knees and did that little bounce back and forth thing that babies do when they are getting ready to crawl. She has done this about 3 times. She is also a very happy baby. My favorite name for her is "Silly Girl". Sometimes all you have to do is look at her and she starts giving you that precious little smile. She will smile at anything or anyone these days. She is also sleeping through the night and has been doing that for almost a month now. She has been given some solid food, but I can't tell if she likes it or not. I'm going to start introducing it to her on a regular basis.

I don't have any recent photos of her, but will be working on that shortly. Someone decided to use our house as their personal store, so we went without many things for awhile. That's what we get for living where we live. I so cannot wait to get out of the city.
