My..My..My...I wish I had a camera today. Taylor just looks so adorable in her pink outfit today. I wanted to wash her hair today, but it's quite cold outside and in the house (trying to get it warm now), plus she's been sneezing..so I think I will wait. She would have had her curly afro thing going on today if I had washed it.
She is also a very smiley baby...I know I keep telling you that. But she will smile at anything and anyone. Once I get a camera, then I'll be snapping pictures of her everyday. Everyone is missing out on so much with her.
She will be 4 weeks and 1 month on Monday. Time is going by so fast. I cannot wait until we are in the final countdown for her 1st bithday party. Still debating on what to do for that day. Knowing me...I'll just go for a really fancy party at home. Although, the kids who will be attending will want Chuck E Cheese for the games and stuff. I don't know, we have to figure it out and set money to the side.
Have to go now...time for a feeding. Will check in later.

Normal Friday So Far!!
Today has been a normal Friday so far. Not much has gone on with the little princess, except for she allowed me to get caught up on my sleep today. She had some applesauce last night and she seemed to have liked it.
I think that Pink Eye may be in the house, not sure though. S's eye looks better than it did last night. He went and got some stuff for it, he has been fighting a cold for the last couple of days, so hopefully that is all it is.
Will post again tommorrow.

OMG...We Got Our First Huge Blowout!!!!
I have read from many parents about their babies having huge blowouts and having to clean it up. Remembering it from my older kids, it wasn't something that I necessarily wanted to go through...but I kind of found myself wondering when our big blowout was going to happen. If you are not a parent, then a big blowout is when a child or any age who is still in diapers has a Poo so explosive and big that it just goes all over everything.
Last night, I had fed Taylor and changed her diaper and put her in her crib. I am looking at television and the next thing I know I hear this weird sound coming from her direction. I think it is some sort of big burp or something, so I pay no attention to it really. Then she just starts to do this crying thing, I mean she is wailing so loud that it is high pitched. I am trying not to pick her up and just let her go to sleep, as she does this every night before going to sleep. She does this crying thing for about 5 minutes and then she is out like a light. But not last night, so when I finally realized that she wasn't going to sleep. I leaned over the crib and look down at her and I ask her "What's wrong mama?". She turns her head towards me and has the saddest look on her face and starts to cry. I'm like "Okay". So I plan to pick her up and rock her to sleep. I am sitting on the edge of our bed and I reach down into the crib to pick her up and I stand her up before picking her all the way up and I notice a stain on the front of her ALL WHITE bodysuit. I'm like "Holy S**t". This little girl had a blowout so big that it went up the front of her and she was laying on it. I'm dropping the F-Bomb like crazy because I totally was trying to figure out how I was going to get her out of this thing as I thought I had to pull it over her head which would have meant Poo would have traveled up.
I had to call in the Troops!!!! I just started shouting names and whoever came, I ordered them to get one thing or another. I had to get a towel to lay on the bed, wipes...new clothes and a huge stack of wipes,as I knew this was going to be a mess. I had to slide the bodysuit down off her shoulders and take it off from the bottom. Then J came in and saw the Poo and said "Ewww" and ran out the room holding his nose. D was like "How did she do all that?". Heck if I know, yesterday was a non-applesauce day.
I managed to clean her up and get her dressed. I left her laying on the bed while I talked to her as she wasn't going to go back to sleep. I was just talking to her and getting her to smile and calling her "Poo Princess". She liked it as she smiled and smiled. Then I tickled her to listen to her laugh. She has such a pretty laugh. As soon as I figure out how to record it, I will do so and post it here.
Well, I have an appointment to be at, at 9am this morning and I"m not even dressed and my hair is not done. I'm a slow poke and procrastinator to the fullest, so I need to get ready.

Silly Girl & Ear Piercing
Yesterday was a silly day for Taylor. She smiled at me anytime I said something to her and she is also quite ticklish. When I tickle her little belly, she will squirm and smile. And I forget again, but I was saying something to her and she would giggle. Also last night around 9pm I gave her a bath, put her diaper on and fed her and put her in her crib. 30 minutes later, I am laying across my bed and looking at television and I see her head pop up...actually I saw her hair..her little "Mini Fro". And I lean over the edge of the crib and she looks at me and I say to her "Little Girl, what are you doing up? It's time to go to sleep!" And she just gives me the biggest smile on the face of this earth, then she stops. Then I repeat what I just said and she smiles again. We go through this about 5 times. Then J comes in the room and asks me what I am saying to Taylor and I tell him. Then I tell him to say it to her, he does and she just looks at him crazy.
That girl has such a little personality. I am so amazed at her. Only 8 months left until her first birthday. I cannot believe it. I am wondering what to do. I want to have a Princess Party, but we haven't decided anything. I am also thinking Chuck-E-Cheese. You can't go wrong with a Chuck-E-Cheese birthday party!!!! Everyone has fun...even adults. We will see.
It has been decided...by me..of course...that Taylor is going to get her ears pierced in about 2 weeks time. Granted that this cast is off and I have a walking boot or cast. Since my cast may come off on March 2nd and I'll be given some sort of walking boot....2 weeks will give me enough time to get used to walking with that thing. So everything should be okay.

Happy 4 Month Birthday!!
So got home yesterday and didn't get a chance to have/make that big Sunday dinner. Was planning on buying everything from the store by the house, but it was closed surprisingly early and the only transpo available had already left. So the big dinner yesterday was "Crap-Donalds". I swear I am so tired of their "Fake Beef". I should have gotten a chicken sandwich.
But anywho, Taylor sucked on some french fries from mc-donalds yesterday and seemed to love them. I started her big brother J on french fries when he was 3 months. Later on in the night she started to have problems with her teeth. She had her fingers way back in her mouth and was gumming them to death. She also gummed my hand to death when I had her sitting on my lap. I'm starting to think she's getting some teeth any day now. She also had a fit because I wouldn't feed her on demand and made her wait 3 hours to eat. She had just finished a 6 ounce bottle a few hours ago and 2 hours later was trying to get some more. But I made her wait at least 3 hours before I fed her 4 more ounces. Then she slept from about 8:30pm-10pm and then she was up, before I changed her and played with her for an hour and put her back to bed and she was out until at least 8am this morning. She woke up and was changed, played with her big brother D while I made her a bottle. She ate, played some more and has been sleep for about 30 minutes now.
I have been thinking about a lot of things with her. One- Should I get her ears pierced now or wait until she asks for them to be pierced? Two - What to get her for her first birthday? Three- What should we do for her 1st birthday? I definately want her to have a party, but we don't know too many little girls, so it would be mostly the people in our families and most of our friends and their kids. We shall see, only 8 more months to go before it happens.

Rocker Princess Photo
In my last post I mentioned that I had entered Taylor in an Online pageant that I had participated in before, and I said something about a "Rocker Princess" photo. I went back into the archives of this blog and found the photo and here it is:
It looks like she is saying "Rock On Dude" in that photo!! So cute. Today, I am going to start adding some cereal to her formula. She just eats and eats and it is time to start adding it on a regular basis.
Did not get my cell phone yesterday, Oh well...no pics until I can find a digital camera. I have several windows open now and I am doing some comparison shopping. I really want to take advantage of taking more pics of the kids, which was something I have not done in the past. Heck, I may even jump in on some of them.
Take care and have a blessed Sunday. I am contemplating a big dinner today when I get home (not at home right now, we are out visiting!!!) A big Sunday dinner. Probably going to see if it can be done. Will let you know how everything turns out.

Uh-Oh & Oh So Cute!!
Before I gave birth, my mother had purchased a large bag of clothing for Taylor. In that bag of clothing, there was a pair of blue-jean overalls. I knew it would be some time before Taylor got into them. A few weeks ago, I pulled them out of the container that I store her clothes in that she does not wear. Today, I put them on and she looks so adorable in them. She has on a pink Onesie under them and some white socks. I tried to put her pink sneakers on, but I could only find one of them. I wished I was able to take a photo of her, but with me no longer having a camera, I will have to wait until I get one and put the outfit on her again.
Also, earlier today, I did something that I really didn't think I would do. If you have been a visitor to my blog for the past few months, you may remember a photograph I had taken of Taylor that I labled "Rocker Princess". It still may be on this blog in an older post. I won that tiara awhile ago from a pageant named Ms American Rose (I won the Illinois State title). Well, I stumbled upon the pageant website again and saw that they had a division for the little ones, so I entered Taylor into it. I know...I know....you are thinking "Crazy Pageant Mom", but I'm not going to become one of those. This is a mail in pageant, all I have to do is send in a photo and some other stuff and that's it. None of that $1,000 dress, fake hair and makeup for her. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but I just do not want that for her right now. I am going to wait for her to make her own decision on if she wants to do it or not. She should win the local pageant for her age group and possible the state title. I promise to keep you updated.

Not Much To Really Report!! :-)
There really isn't much to report, seeing as how I'm still "On Bed Rest" because of my broken leg. I'm not going outside at all unless it is mandatory, so that means no special trips to the mall for at least another 3-4 weeks!! BOOO!!! I so wanted to take Taylor to the mall and do a bunch of things. But because I can't really walk or stand for long periods of time with these crutches, then my only option is a wheelchair or walker!! Papa Joe actually had the nerves to offer me one of his moms old walkers, saying it would be easier for me to get around. No, a walking cast would be easier for me to get around!! LOL!! It shouldn't be too long now. I say in about another month, I'll be back to my old self.
Today seemed to be a fussy day for the L.O. Her teeth must really be coming in as she kept sticking her fingers in her mouth and gumming them to death. Have to do something about it. She was also really fussy. She's going to start eating some more cereal and stuff starting this weekend. Have to plump the L.O up!!! :-) I also think she has started to laugh. I forget what I was saying or doing to her, but everytime I did it, she would smile really big and make this laughing type sound. I cannot wait until the weather breaks so I can take her and J to the zoo. I've been wanting to do that for so long. Hopefully, the weather will break soon, so we can have an outing to Lincoln Park Zoo.

Sorry Been M.I.A!!
Sorry that we have been Missing In Action, but there have been a lot of things going on personally that required my full attention. But we are back and I'll start blogging and everything on a regular basis.
Little Miss Taylor is doing excellent. Growing like a weed. She is now 3 months and is wearing 6-9 month clothing. She eats about every 3 1/2 hours and can manage between 4-6 ounces per feeding. She is also starting to teeth (my children start to teeth between 3-6 months of age). She can also turn and lay on her side or completely on her back when she is laying on her stomach. Sometimes when laying on her stomach, she has gotten up on her hands and knees and did that little bounce back and forth thing that babies do when they are getting ready to crawl. She has done this about 3 times. She is also a very happy baby. My favorite name for her is "Silly Girl". Sometimes all you have to do is look at her and she starts giving you that precious little smile. She will smile at anything or anyone these days. She is also sleeping through the night and has been doing that for almost a month now. She has been given some solid food, but I can't tell if she likes it or not. I'm going to start introducing it to her on a regular basis.
I don't have any recent photos of her, but will be working on that shortly. Someone decided to use our house as their personal store, so we went without many things for awhile. That's what we get for living where we live. I so cannot wait to get out of the city.
